Beloved

For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory; "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." II Peter 1:17

The center black and gold rose patterned fabric represents the canopy or "chuppah" still used as part of the Jewish wedding ceremony. This so called veil or chuppah represents the bridal chamber, the veil expresses Jesus' longing to have intimate fellowship with His bride. The red lettering has been appliquéd by hand with roses. The color red, for the blood that Jesus shed and the roses for "I am the rose of Sharon" Song of Solomon 2:1 (from the coastal plains of Sharon) also the "rose" of Isaiah 35:1
Prominent on this banner are the delicate side hangings portraying kingliness, "full of grace." John 1:14
The shape of the side hangings with the point at the bottom symbolizes God reaching down to man through His Son, Jesus.
The cross and the Star of David on each side of the side hangings has a combination of 39 strands of black and gold beads. Jesus received 39 lashes at the pillar. II Corinthians 11:24 & Isaiah 53:5
The Roman style swag at the top of the banner depicts the Roman crucifixion our King suffered.
